|My flashing trainers and Verna's Stella McCartney's were the best shoes there (obvs). Verna is an UTTER BABE and a style inspiration so go follow her blog here.|
So the VERY exciting Moschino x Specsavers launch happened on Wednesday evening at Lights Of Soho.
When i found out about this collaboration last month i literally could not handle my excitement. As you can tell from my style I LOVE Moschino and unfortunately do not have 20/20 vision, therefore glasses (and Specsavers) are my best friend.
The event was everything and more I could of expected from a Moschino collaboration. Taking place at the very fitting location, which was covered in neon lights. The drinks were flowing, music blaring and it was overall a jolly good time!
I spent most of my evening photographing the neon sign art pieces that took over the venue. I JUST LOVE NEON SIGNS. My favourite was Mark Goede's pieces one said 'Love At First Swipe' (how modern and perfect for all y'all who have met on Tinder). His other pieces included one that said 'Last Offline Lovers' which i actually found quite poignant because it is really sad that nowadays everything including everyone's love life seems to happen through a computer or mobile device. Anyway, if you are a neon sign lover like me then pop into Lights Of Soho (in Soho, duh) or to find out more about Mark's work go take a look here.
The range, which is in Specsavers stores NOW had some amazing stand out pieces. My ultimate favourite's were the cat eye glasses. They were getting quite a lot of attention and literally everyone who put them on looked fab! I think they may be 'The Travelling Pant's' of glasses.
Other stand out pairs included a retro white sunglasses and a pair that had the iconic Moschino heart detail on the sides. I feel like i can't go to Paris Fashion Week without a pair of these sunglasses because they were just. so. cool!
