We all know it's coming. Photo's of beaches and bikini's are cropping up on our Instagram feeds and our legs are begging not to be stuck in skinny jeans as we brave The Tube on a unexpected sunny day.
It's time, the legs are coming out.
Now, i'm going to be completely honest. I am very happy to let my legs get a bit (very) fuzzy in the winter. As someone whose beauty regime is non-existent the idea of now having to shave my legs every week is frankly a pain in the arse.
I'm the type of gal who has been known to shave my legs whilst already in my ripped jeans in order to then look presentable enough to go out in public. And I genuinely cannot remember the last time I gave my legs the thorough front and back treatment. Basically, I suck at shaving.
However, shaving is just one of those female things, like periods and the fact that we are never going to end up with Ryan Gosling - we just have to deal with it. So therefore, this year I was determined to try and find the easiest and quickest way possible.
Enter Philips Satin Shave. Firstly I discovered an electric shaver is SO much quicker than those pesky little razors that barely shave a centimeter at a time and you usually end up looking like you've been in a shark attack. (On this note i would like to add that if you do see the cut on my leg in these images I did not do it shaving. Miss Clever Carder here actually walked into one of the lights in the studio whilst shooting this - once again, nice on Sabs).
So what do I love about the shaver? Right well, to start off with I can use the electric shaver on either wet or dry legs. This means I don't have to panic and jump in the shower every time I am about to head out the door for a night out and then realise I didn't shave my legs - score.
I can also charge it from the mains. Get in! To be honest one of the reason why all my other attempts at electrical shavers failed (in fact i'm pretty sure I have at least two other Philips shavers hidden in a draw somewhere) is because they ran out of AA batteries and could I be bothered to replace them? Nope.
This shaver even has a quick 5 min charge cycle for all those last minute ''Netflix and chill'' emergency.
Finally, the blades have protective bars meaning there's no chance of me cutting myself...much (horaaay). And there is also a handy trimmer on the tip that you can use to get all those tricky hairs on the knee caps etc.
So, there you have it the easy peasy way to get silky smooth legs this summer.
