The biggest street style trends from Fashion Week SS18

10.11.2017

Every fashion week we see several new street style trends appear - some more stupid than others. For instance, walking around with a bumbag strapped to your chest, erm really?

However, one quite literally *huge* trend you could not miss this season in London, Milan, New York and Paris was the oversized blazer.

Influenced by CΓ©line and Balenciaga, fashionista's had raided their Grandpa's wardrobes and were all walking around in a blazer that looked like the one's our mum's bought us in year 7, that were meant that last us our entire school life.

Side note: I asked my Pap is I could have one of his old blazers, but turns out the charity shop had got in there before me. So, if you aren't successful raiding your dad or paps wardrobe, head to the charity shop and you can pick yourself up one for a fiver.

Or, if you're looking to 'treat yo self' and be a little more 'fashun', ASOS has some banging blazer available - all in the uber trendy Prince of Wales check as well. 😏😏😏😏😏😏

And what could be more on-point than accessorising your French chic blazer with a beret? The headgear has exploded in recent months, mainly thanks to Dior who last season featured a leather beret on every single model at their AW17 show.

Instagram has also been awash with beret's in every style, from classic Parisian chic, to Kangol military designs - and I'm here for it tbh.

Finally, what would a fashion week outfit be, if a few must-have branded items weren't thrown in there for good measure? From high-end designer, to streetwear labels - branded items are always hot property.

Soz Off-White, but I don't have £150 for a piece of fabric, which has been 'transformed' into a belt, so this is a dupe off eBay for £4.99.

However, saying that, fabric belts that look like they've been constructed out of those worn in the car have really got the seal of approval this season. Bizarre? Yes. Is it growing on me? Most definitely.

Also, if you want to go for a full-on Balenciaga vibe (which, I would highly suggest, because it's awesome). You need to add a pair of their iconic spandex jewel toned boots.

Yeah, you know the ones I'm talking about. I mean, they don't look comfy, but they complete the quirky 80s outfit perfectly.

Luckily for us there are tons of dupes out atm, and they're being added to my basket ASAP.
